In 2014, Adriane co-founded Gargouille literary journal with Sarah Wreford. Gargouille is a bi-annual, print journal that is currently in hibernation. The journal has a focus on short fiction, poetry, script and literary works that defy genre. Gargouille’s motto is artistry over ideology and the journal often deals with subversive and experimental content. Gargouille can be purchased online and at select stockists across Melbourne, including Readings (Carlton & St Kilda), Brunswick Bound and Hares & Hyenas. In 2017, Gargouille co-hosted a Late Night Lit Salon for the Emerging Writers Festival and, in 2019, participated in the Melbourne Art Book Fair. The journal also enjoys a marketing partnership with the Mildura Writers Festival.
